Subscriptions
Restore a purchase: open Tarot Journal, go to Settings, and tap Restore Purchases. Keep the device signed in to the Apple Account that made the purchase and allow a network connection.
Cancel a subscription: open iOS Settings, tap your name, choose Subscriptions, select Tarot Journal, and tap Cancel Subscription. Deleting the app does not cancel billing.
Request a refund: purchases are billed by Apple, so refund requests must be submitted to Apple and are decided under Apple’s policies and applicable law.
Common questions
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-in and no email address to give. You can open the app and start writing.
Where do my entries live?
Readings, notes and preferences are stored on your device. Generated text requests go through a Cloudflare proxy to an AI provider and include the fields listed in the Privacy Policy. Your greeting name and reminder schedule are not sent.
What is free?
You can save up to three free readings and use the Yes or No and Situation spreads. Premium unlocks seven additional spreads, full readings, local portrait interpretation and eligible generated text for seven- and thirty-day portraits. Current prices and any trial terms appear in the app before purchase.
Why can’t I start another reading?
The free app stops after three saved readings unless you subscribe. The generation service also allows up to three free or six premium reading generations per UTC day. A temporary service budget or provider outage can also pause generation.
How do follow-ups work?
A saved reading gets a local follow-up date seven days later at 7 p.m. by default. You can choose tomorrow, three days, one week, one month or a custom future date. When it is due, add a follow-up note and save it with the reading.
Which languages are supported?
The interface and generated text support English, Ukrainian, Polish and Spanish. Your own notes can use any language available from your keyboard.
Does Tarot Journal work offline?
Partly. Existing journal content, the deterministic daily card and locally calculated portrait information can remain available offline. New generated text needs an internet connection.
How do I delete my data?
Delete the app to remove its local journal and preferences. The Keychain device identifier may survive reinstall. The current app does not include journal export. See the Privacy Policy for server-side retention and request options.
